Head of Technical Services

Job Objective
Management of the activities of the Technical Services and all its departments in order to fulfill its KPIs
Realize the HELLA leadership model in all its four dimensions

Duties and Responsibilities
A Technical Services Management
Ensure the short-, mid- and long-term organization of the Technical Services in regards of headcount planning, budgeting, employee development and training and technological enhancements to improve the competitive position of the location

Controlling and supervising methods, processes and manufacturing techniques for production in cooperation with the stakeholders. Strategic planning, supervising and supporting ongoing operations with optimizations, providing technical expertise to achieve the targets associated with the capital expenditure

Continually monitoring the market using all the possibilities offered by current technology to hold the services, processes, technologies, materials and resources offered by the area of responsibility up to date

Ensuring that (internal and external) equipment and resources are repaired and maintained in agreement with production and according to its requirements. These tasks have to be carried out on schedule and cost-effectively in order to ensure a smooth problem-free production

Coordinating the necessary medium and long-term capital investment and planning

Designing, controlling and optimizing the creation and commissioning of materials and resources, subject to consideration of the available technical and human resources

B Leadership
Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks

Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks

Responsible for hiring process and sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands

Managing of employees according to targets and delegation, to select, to qualify and further develop employees on the basis of a culture of trust, control effectiveness, in order to develop and compensate potential and promote individual competencies, to achieve the targets of the department.
