Head of Strategy and Business Development - Bank Broker Dealer

The Bank Broker Dealer Head of Strategy and Business Development is a key member of the BBD Management Team and partners directly with the BBD President, the General Managers of the BBD businesses, the Head of Product, and other business leaders to establish and implement the short-term and long-term strategic direction of BBD. The BBD Head of Strategy and Business Development will work with other stakeholders for all other related businesses of ICS, in conjunction with the ICS Head of Strategy. 


Performance Responsibilities Summary:
The BBD Head of Strategy and Business Development will also lead and execute strategically meaningful projects that are defined from “top of house”.  They will have dotted line to the Head of ICS Strategy. The BBD Head of Strategy and Business Development will apply rigorous strategic thinking and quantitative analysis to develop and test growth opportunities with a heavy focus on:
•    BBD wide Long-range strategic planning to drive growth
•    BBD wide product prioritization
•    M&A and partnerships for BBD
•    Competitive threat strategy and mitigation
•    Governance
•    Tactical initiatives to help improve the organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Design, Growth, Analysis & Transformation

Partner with Broadridge, ICS and BBD leaders as a principal driver of the overall strategy and how it impacts the design, implementation, and operational success of key product initiatives and services.
 Contribute strategic and tactical expertise that can be leveraged to solve unique barriers to meeting our growth targets over the next 5-6 years, and manage competitive threats.

Analyze the industry, competitive landscape, and market trends; determine potential impact upon Broadridge, and appropriately recommend changes to the strategy as appropriate.

Drive transformation strategies through acquisitions and partnerships. Incubate new ideas for strategic investments, partner with the BU’s on the M&A pipeline, including target identification, building relationships and providing analysis and opinion on potential acquisitions.

Lead or partner on the creation of all phases of a business case (e.g. market analysis, competitive dynamics, value proposition, strategic fit, economic models and launch) to support any new initiatives.

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (Advanced Degree Preferred) in a relevant discipline such as Finance or Business Administration

4+ years experience in big 3 consulting preferred; OR

10+ years of experience leading large scale Corporate Strategy initiatives in a medium to larger sized organization within the Financial Services, Technology, or Fin-Tech industries

Demonstrated experience influencing and driving transformation and change effectively and cross-functionally at a large scale

Creative and analytical thinker with demonstrated experience influencing and driving large scale and cross functional strategic initiatives

Strong collaborator, communicator, and able to define strategy, drive alignment and mobilize large teams

Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to indirectly influence key partners and stakeholders

Salary range $225,000.00- $275,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
