Role Summary
We have a new position within our Europe Technical team for a presales technical solutions professional with detailed experience in packet core design for 5G Networks and packet core solutions knowledge of Messaging and/or radio (including small cells) would be adventageous. This position will be based in our French region (within our EMEA region) with potential to support wider teams across the region. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely within a small team, & report to the VP Technology Solutions EMEA and the Head of Sales for France & Southern Europe. A right to work in France/EU is essential as is the need to be fluent in French & English.This role will be pivotal in ensuring the continued development of our solutions and will be able to influence the direction of the customer proposition. Previous experience in 5G Core/IMS or Messaging design/strategy departments will be considered beneficial to the application as will experience in designing advanced 5G network solutions.
The successful candidate will have either a successful track record in technical pre-sales in the wireless telecommunications industry – a direct pre-sales and in-depth technology related experience in the Core/IMS /Messaging market. Or a successful track record in technical design/strategy development in the wireless telecommunications industry either in standards bodies or the customer community.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and refinement of Mavenir’s Cloud native K8 Network CoreContribute to the development and refinement of Mavenir’s Cloud native Packet Core, & IMS products and go to market activities.Assist sales team in all phases of the selling process. Interact with internal and external customers. Work with Account managers to identify/qualify customer & prospect opportunities & define requirementsWork with Product Managers to reflect customer requirements in feature set & road mapLead, manage & provide direct technical input to customer RFXs.Understand pricing mechanisms and support sales team in building commercial proposals. Maintain contact and open communication with customers to assist with future needs. Active in tender submissions . Preparation of technical sales materials including collateral, quotation, timeline, project plan and solution proposals.Lead POC activities with customersCreate content to support the technical strength of the Mavenir solutions.Job Requirements
