We firmly believe that our product ecosystem and portfolio of innovation set our brand apart.We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales & Merchandising to join Samsung Electronics Australia, where you will lead the national retail execution and sales function across all channels.
This senior leadership role is responsible for driving sell-out performance, leading large cross-functional field team, and ensuring seamless in-store brand presence and execution. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen, operational excellence, and a passion for retail to accelerate growth and enhance the customer experience across key consumer electronics retailers.
You will play a critical role in leading and directing the State Managers, Merchandisers and Training Managers to bring the sales and retail strategy to life in-store, while developing advocacy and brand preference within retailers whilst driving sell-out across all retailers and assist with sell-in via proprietor owned retailers.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for the delivery of the Consumer Electronics sell out sales target nationally
Bringing the Retail Strategy to life through stand out store execution
Develop the respective states customers and business, providing assistance to dealers through planning sales levels in line with Samsung Australia’s management plan
Development and execution of physical and e-learning retail training strategy
Create and deploy training and product information to RSP’s to support the execution of new product launches
Optimise inventory management through the execution of strategies to support key metrics of dead inventory and slow run rate SKU’s
Point of escalation for all field related matters both internally and externally
Skills and Qualifications
Strong experience in retail sales leadership, with a proven track record managing large, dispersed national teams
Demonstrated success in leading field execution, sales operations, and training across premium consumer electronics or FMCG
Experience managing multiple layers of leadership, including state and area managers, merchandisers, and training teams
Strong capability in building and scaling sales and execution strategies aligned with business goals
Previous accountability for national sales targets, retail program ROI, and partner engagement at executive level
