Head of Sales & Marketing (f/m/d) Operational Software
Siemens Digital Industries (DI) is driving a major growth initiative around operational software, augmenting its leadership position in engineering software and industrial automation. The Operations Software group will drive portfolio and product strategy, as well as go-to-market strategy across business units and sales in DI Software and Automation.  This role will be responsible for Operations Software go-to-market strategy, execution, and revenue growth, working in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams in both DI Software and DI Automation. This role is pivotal in aligning cross-functional efforts across two sales forces to drive revenue growth, operational excellence, and go-to-market success. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative operator with a strong background in sales strategy, sales enablement, and product marketing, capable of translating product vision into actionable sales execution.

You’ll break new ground by 

Developing sales strategy and execution, partnering with sales leadership in both DI Software and DI Automation, to define and implement Operations Software sales tacticsWorking with sales to design and deliver enablement programs tailored to each sales force, including training, playbooks, and competitive positioningDeveloping and managing sales performance metrics, forecasting models, and pipeline health dashboardsDriving thought leadership and demand generation in close collaboration with DI marketing, collaborating with product management to shape messaging and customer facing materialActing as a feedback loop between sales and product teams to continuously refine positioning and value propositions, working with Operations Software Product ManagementServing as the operational right hand to the Operational Software leader, driving cross-functional initiatives and business reviews

Your success is grounded in

EducationMaster degree in business administration, communication, marketing, or similar. Experience & SkillsProven long-term ability to develop and execute global software sales strategies and driving revenue growth  Shown track record in sales operations, business operations, marketing, or go-to-market roles, preferably in B2B software environments. Strong analytical skills with experience in CRM, sales analytics, and forecasting tools. Ways of workingExcellent stakeholder management and ability to engage with external executives and partners. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work interdependently with teams that are not in direct reporting relationshipsLanguagesFluent English, additional languages are a plus
