Head of Retail Marketing

Position Summary

We are looking for a Head of Retail Marketing to join our Consumer Electronics team!

Role and Responsibilities

Ensure that Samsung Brand and products/propositions get maximum exposure in channel(s)Ensure differentiation based on store priority and the store’s flexibility to accept Brand in-store elementsBe the guardian of the Brand and apply brand guidelines across all shopper touch points consistentlyManage shop displays/fixtures /POP production, distribution, implementation and maintenance in accordance to display and POP display guidelinesDevelop and apply new store Layout/Zoning, displays and In-Store CommunicationConduct store audit to check in-store executionSupport the development of the channel mapping and segmentation analysis for the respectful markets, working closely with Sales and the Retail Planning and Analysis teamMonitor and manage the Brand performance and investment within the channelCollect field data (shelf share, product availability, promoter sell-out, price, promotion) and generate weekly reports for respectful markets and product divisionsEnsure appropriate reporting and analysis of performanceManage Field Force and Merchandising programEnsure that all stores are properly merchandised, trained and, when appropriate, authorizedManage training programs to educate Field force as well as FSM on Samsung products and propositionsManage multilevel education and certification programs, as well as Sales skills trainingsPropose, gain agreement and work to the budget that is needed to execute the Marketing Plan within the channel(s) throughout the business cycle, ensuring it is used to maximum effectRetail agency briefing, planning and management.Liaise with and guide cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with global and local strategic initiatives, clear communication, seamless integration and timely execution of retail marketing program deliverablesOther tasks per direct managers requestManage internal Retail Marketing teamDefine local strategy in line with HQ guidesDevelop local solutions for furniture and POP material production where possibleSecure proper budget planning and consumption in line with guides

Skills and Qualifications

Qualification/Experience

University degree5+ years of Customer and Shopper marketing experience in related industryTrack record of managing marketing budgets in a global organizationProven successful experience at developing efficient work plans for complex projects involving many groups and effectively implementing and coordinating these plans Driver's license

Knowledge

Upper-intermediate command of EnglishAdvanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
