The Head of Retail Field Engagement is responsible for managing a team that engages with Retail market executives to, drive strategy deliverables and performance that enhances customer service and drives business growth with each market, partnering to develop & execute on a local market strategy, leveraging sales tools and tactics to support the field and drive results.
Depth & Scope:
Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required
Plays a critical role in fostering stronger customer and business performance outcomes for the Retail Store Network – understanding tactics to hit strategic goals
Provides consultative advice to TDBG Retail executives that supports developing and driving tactics to execute on the Consumer Bank Strategy
Develops and executes retail engagement strategies that aligns with AMCB TD Bank's goals and objectives
Oversees the deployment, adoption, and execution of the local Market strategy
Identifies opportunities for business leaders to leverage Consumer channels and various tools and resources to drive business growth
Partners across Consumer to understand business performance and utilizes insights to help the team on the market level strategies
Provides product & marketing partners with local, competitive insights (market offers, bank closures, etc.)
Partners with Change Management team to support local adoption and training
Establishes KPIs to measure effectiveness of the Retail Sales Directors that align to overall AMCB TD Bank Objectives
Evaluates performance analytics, identifies gaps, shares learnings, and reinforces behavioral expectations that drives outcomes
Leads the consulting team as they develop hypotheses, reviews client information and research, derives insights, and translates into qualitative problem-solving that can be presented to retail executives and other stakeholders
Supports Partners in project execution through excellent project management, including work planning, workflow management, and coaching / developing more junior team members
Partners with cross-functional leads (product, digital, customer experience, wealth etc.) to optimize processes and identifies business growth opportunities
Assists the team in generating strategic insights, briefs, and tactical plans
Contributes to building, modifying, and delivering on all learning/training
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree preferred
8+ years of experience in finance/sales strategy, or related field
Experience in reading and interpreting data and providing recommendations
Crafting unique and compelling stories, leveraging data and complex principles
Ability to provide, craft and articulate points-of-views, guidance, and direction
Experience in managing and mentoring teams
