Job PurposeAs a member of the Regional Manufacturing Leadership Team, this position will contribute to the development and functional excellence strategy of the Integrated Supply Chain and Manufacturing functions for fifteen (15) sites in North America to include the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Will ensure alignment with the capital expenditure portfolio and resourcing plans up to $50MM. Will lead performance by implementing efficient processes, effective resource allocation, standardized tools, embedding safety, and engaging cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities Support the Regional Manufacturing Director by managing the capital expenditure projects portfolio. Will support the manufacturing facilities' three (3) to five (5) year masterplan reflecting the Integrated Supply Chain strategy ensuring compliance with AkzoNobel standards. Manage Regional Project Managers to ensure an effective team. Will create a collaborative environment that is operations focused. Will recognize and promote achievements as well as provide required coaching. Functionally guide the Engineering community networks of the region by sharing related business information, functional best practices, and challenges. Will prepare succession and development plans. Ensure the application of the Project Management Program to all projects across the region. Ensure that technology, procurement and engineering standards are applied to all relevant capital expenditure projects within the region. Serve as a role model in leadership and talent management by following AkzoNobel values in developing talent for key positions in Integrated Supply Chain. Will enhance talent development and engagement levels. Job Requirements Master of Science in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Bachelor of Science with additional work experience will be considered in lieu of education requirement. 10 years' operations and capital project/portfolio management experience. Must have led multilple capital expenditures projects (>5 million) for multiple functions and sites. Technical and scientific understanding in the areas of engineering. Must understand external business trends to drive internal strategies. Proven experience managing engineering partners with the ability to lead and drive multi-disciplinary projects and diverse teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience using AutoCAD preferred. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong decision making and problem solivng skills. Fluent in English. Position LocationThis position may be based in the United States or Mexico.

Rewards and Benefits
The salary range for these skills is $165,000.00 - $190,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
