Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Head of QA to join our client in the Artificial Intelligence space on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a hybrid role that will require the successful candidate to work on-site, downtown Vancouver 1-day per week. Within the role, you'll be acting as a QA Manager as a hands-on player coach to a team size between 6-to-10 resources to develop best practices and systems for a quality QA ecosystem. The successful candidate should have experience building and scaling test frameworks for unit testing, integration testing and overall end-to-end testing. This will be to ultimately understand the system's current quality status and provide a clear picture of the current test coverage. You'll be owning and managing test management systems such as TestRail and Zephyr to define effective QA workflows across teams. Once best practices are established, you'll be responsible for the teams tracking and reporting of QA metrics. Lastly, you'll be building and maintaining test automation frameworks to support engineers in improving automation coverage as a whole.

Skills and Requirements
- A minimum of 8-years' experience working within QA, with at least the most recent 3-years in a managerial capacity
- Strong hands-on experience building out scalable test frameworks within an organization
- Unit Testing, Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing
- Experience owning test management systems such as TestRail and Zephyr for effective QA workflows across teams
- Leadership experience in defining overall test strategy with collaboration of engineering, product and cross-functional teams
- Previous or current experience working in a SaaS start-up environment - Working with on-shore and off-shore QA teams
- Familiarity with release management processes in agile environments null
