We are looking for an Executive Director Product Manager to lead our Brazil Payments Product Management team and drive our in-country capabilities. This position will report directly to the regional WP Product Head and accountable locally to the Payments country head.
Job responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Development:
Develop and execute the product strategy for payment solutions in Brazil. Identify market opportunities and customer needs to drive product innovation and differentiation. Create compelling business cases with detailed analysis of the market, payment landscape, revenue opportunities and proposed solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and prioritize features.Product Management:
Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and ongoing management. Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings. Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Strong control over financial planning and development of a detailed revenue plan whilst driving down cost baseMarket Analysis and Research:
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences. Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations teams to deliver high-quality products. Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.Customer Engagement:
Engage with customers to gather feedback and insights to inform product development. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, sales and partners.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Experience in building and delivering payment or growth strategy for a financial institution. Experience in Payments / Corporate Banking products (Payables & Receivables, Liquidity, Client channels, etc.). Demonstrated ability for strategic thinking and influencing at all levels. Intellectually curious with 'constant improvement' mindset and strong attention to detail. Ability to quickly build strong partnerships, credibility and influence with technology, functional partners, and senior management. Experience in managing and motivating teams from a diverse backgrounds and seniority. Commercially minded individual with creative problem solving, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions. Strong presentation and communication skills both with clients and internal partners.Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Experience and understanding of Brazil payment landscape. Experience in working with vendors and Fintechs.
