Working closely with the Chief Digital Officer, LIONS Insight, this person will be expected to contribute to product strategy and help shape and deliver the future of WARC’s portfolio of digital product roadmap and services. The successful candidate will be innovative, customer-focused and have a  growth mindset. They will have to balance product intuition, creative problem solving and data-driven decision making. 

They will work closely with various stakeholders to evaluate product opportunities and determine what gets built and delivered to customers. They will also manage the UI/UX Team of designers to ensure total integration between user experience design and product design initiatives.

They will guide and collaborate with the engineering team on what gets built, based on insights they gather from the market, customers and internal teams. They will be an advocate of the WARC product suite and work closely with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and others to bring products successfully to market. They will be experienced in product management best practices and help embed these approaches within WARC.

Key accountabilities

Working with the Chief Digital Officer, LIONS Insight, help shape and communicate WARC’s product vision and strategy

Translate WARC’s vision and strategy into a product roadmap, informed by rigorous customer research and testing

Translate the roadmap into requirements that should be formalised, documented and tracked. Assist the Engineering & Data Teams in delivering those requirements on time

Work closely with the Engineering, Data Science, Delivery and Design teams to ensure alignment and joint understanding of product requirements and customer needs, help define workflows, product architecture and UI/UX

Lead and develop the WARC Design team through management and mentorship to ensure quality end products

Work closely with Sales and Marketing on go to market strategies for each product or product lines

Set and deliver targets against user engagement and satisfaction across WARC’s product suite

QualificationsExperience of product management and/or delivery within information services or SaaS, preferably in B2BAgile / Scrum Master / Project Management Qualifications beneficial but not essentiaProven track record of success in developing products with high quality user experiencProven track record of success in leading high quality customer research and translating needs into product ideasExperience in planning development roadmaps which correlate business strategyInfluencing skills; interacting with stakeholders and leading / developing teams; with customer led viewpointThe right candidate has the ability to uncover customer needs, translate those needs into a set of product features and gain alignment on the delivery with the Engineering organization, whilst being able to align to overall business and customer needsAbility to translate technical terminology to business stakeholdersAbility to work on multiple projects and apply structure, rigour and priorities to you workload
