Head of Poultry Business Unit

Job Description

Provide strong leadership for sales and technical & marketing teams to analyze customer needs, seize business opportunities, create/execute strategic initiatives – value co creation for major key accounts, drive and ensure proper implementation of the sales and marketing initiatives.Responsible for the realization of sales targets while managing P&L, gross-margin, operating expenses and market share.Focus on driving Go to Market change – especially on key account management to drive demand generation, effectively increase direct connection with major industry players. Work closely with distribution counterparts to support strong execution of strategic plans that advance the business. Ensure resource allocation, investment and utilization effectiveness to create demand and grow businessExecutes and coordinates local activities on poultry industry stake holders and key accounts for sustained growth. Convert and communicate regional brand strategies and marketing strategies for local implementationWorking to establish high performance team with “growth mindset”- Guide and Coach the sales team to improve their efficiency and plan for their training and development to acquire new skillsDevelopment, implementation and monitoring of marketing plans to meet the species sales budget and profitabilityReview opportunities for new products to be introduced into the market and extensions to claims for existing products.Supervise development of marketing activities and materials and ensures these are provided in an appropriate and timely manner, co-ordinate and work closely with Supply Chain and RA function to ensure that products are available for commercialization as required.Maintain compliance with legal and policy requirements.
