Head of PMO

Position Overview:

The Head of PMO is responsible for leading, developing, and managing the Project Management Office. This role ensures the effective delivery of projects leading by CDT, aligns projects with business strategies, and enhances project management capabilities. This role also will lead overall CDT projects budget, allocate budget align with business priority, and make sure each project delivery on time within budget.  The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

 Strategy and Planning

Key member of KONE China digital transformation strategy development, Develop and implement the PMO's strategic plan, aligning it with overall business digital transformation objectives.Define project management standards, processes, and best practices in agile way, and ensure their continuous improvement.Provide strategic guidance to project teams, helping them navigate complex projects and achieve project goals.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop the PMO team, fostering a collaborative and high - performing work environment.Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and expertise, and monitor their performance.Recruit, hire, and train new PMO staff as needed to support the growth of business.

Project Portfolio Management

Oversee CDT project portfolio, ensuring that projects are prioritized based on business value and resource availability, and ensure deliver project within budgetMonitor project progress, risks, and issues across the portfolio, and provide regular reports to senior management in GCN and KTIIdentify and manage dependencies between projects, and resolve conflicts that may arise.

Stakeholder Management

Act as a liaison between CDT, Business team and global project team, also external customer, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.Engage with senior executives in GCN and KTI, providing them with project insights and recommendations to support decision - making.Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as customers, partners, and vendors, as they relate to project delivery.

Process Improvement

Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, tools, and techniques. Develop CDT team overall agile mature level.Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.Drive a culture of innovation within the PMO, encouraging team members to suggest and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, computer science, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.At least 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven experience in establishing and leading a PMO in a complex organization, experience in leading PMO in digital transformation organization is preferred.Experience in managing large - scale, cross - functional projects.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non - technical audiences.Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Primavera.In - depth knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, and Lean.Strong analytical and problem - solving skills, with the ability to make data - driven decisions.PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
