Head of Personal Lines Claims

Reporting to the Thailand Country Claims Manager, this position will be responsible for delivering the Personal Line Claims strategy (Auto, Personal Property, Extended Warranty, Plus), accountable for team performance and budget, and developing talent management. You balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data, analysis, experience, business concerns, judgment, along with a risk mindset. Ultimately, you take ownership for key outcomes. How you will create an impact + Manage and lead the Personal Line Claims teams to achieve the goals and objectives as set. + Manage overall relationships, communications and operational links with Profit Centre, Regional Office, Distribution channels, and business partner. + Involve in activity and/or projects that affect Personal Insurance claim’s structure and workflow, including system related matters, to ensure operational efficiency. + Lead the design and implementation Personal Line Claims strategies to support business aligned with Global/International claims, as well as Country business plans and priorities. + Senior point of contact for claims for internal stakeholders & functions regarding to Personal Insurance Claims. + Ensure quality and quantity management of claims in accordance with best practices. + Manage performance standards and benchmarks. + Manage and control total cost of claims, ensure that team expenses aligning and within budget. + Ensure that claim staff respond to stakeholders with good attitude, good manner, fast and settle fairly and promptly. + Manage resources, staff competency, claims workflow & process and service performance levels for the overall betterment and high level of team efficiency & effectiveness. + Oversee the preparation and delivery of all claim management reports ensuring promptness and accuracy. + Ensure that the team are operating within appropriate regulatory framework boundaries and protection of all licenses and agreements. Adhere to and embed the Company’s risk policies, Statement of Operating Standards and any AIG policies, audits, controls and ERM procedures. What you’ll need to succeed + Bachelor’s Degree or above in related field + Excellent problem solving and analytical skills + Excellent communication skills both verbal and written + Excellent leadership skills and interpersonal skills + Extensive experience in claims management + Well-developed negotiation skills + Sufficient people management and influencing skills + Calm and assertive manner when dealing with complaints Ready to make a bigger impact?
