You will oversee programs that advance organizational well-being, drive inclusion, enrich internal culture, and promote purpose-driven volunteerism—all aligned with our company’s mission and values. This role is a key link between the employee experience and community engagement, establishing our company as both an employer of choice and a responsible corporate citizen. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time. **Organizational Health** + Lead the evolution, design, planning, and execution of frameworks and practices that support organizational effectiveness, including team cohesion, leadership alignment, cross-functional collaboration, and enterprise-wide organizational health and performance strategies. + Ensure alignment with business objectives, support cultural transformation, and strengthen leadership capability and employee engagement across all levels + Establish and oversee a Survey Center of Excellence to provide governance, methodology, education, and enterprise-wide alignment on employee listening strategies + Lead the creation and execution of measurement strategies to assess the impact of organizational health, including the well-being of the enterprise; leverage key engagement and health metrics to inform continuous improvement and demonstration ROI. + Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to HR partners and business leaders to develop and implement comprehensive, inclusive employee well-being and organizational health strategies encompassing physical, mental, emotional, and financial health. **Enterprise Teammate Engagement** • Lead cross-functional initiatives that foster employee connection, inclusion, recognition, and growth at all levels of the organization, ensuring these efforts support a thriving, purpose-driven culture • Integrate organizational health strategies with employee engagement initiatives to create a cohesive approach that enhances team effectiveness, strengthens cultural alignment, and supports the overall well-being, connection and performance of teammates through the employee lifecycle. • Oversee the design and execution of employee programs such as Purpose, Inclusion/ Business Resource Groups, internal communication, and teammate recognition programs that elevate the teammate experience and reflect the organization’s values, culture and strategic objectives. • Partner closely with LOB Enablement leaders and HR Business Partners to ensure programs are aligned with enterprise culture priorities and drive measurable impact on engagement, retention, and performance. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business units, Corporate Communications, Talent, and other key functions to co-create employee experiences that are felt meaningfully throughout the teammate lifecycle. **Volunteerism & Community Engagement** + Provide strategic leadership for the company’s enterprise-wide volunteerism and employee giving strategy, including paid volunteer time off (VTO), skills-based volunteering, and community partnerships—ensuring alignment with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) priorities and organizational values + Oversee the planning, execution and impact measurement of volunteer campaigns and giving programs, working through direct reports to drive employee engagement, maximizing community impact, and deliver on key ESG and corporate responsibilities priorities. + Serve as a visible leader and internal champion for community impact, partnering closely with ESG, Corporate Responsibility, and Communications team to integrate community impact efforts into the broader strategy and stakeholder narrative. + Empower teams to build and sustain meaningful community relationships, promoting our purpose through service to their communities across the enterprise, and ensure volunteerism and giving efforts reflect the company’s brand, purpose, and commitment to inclusive impact. **Key Competencies** • Strategic and systems thinker • Empathetic leadership and strong relationship-building • Data-driven decision making • Passion for purpose-driven work, inclusion and community impact • Change leadership and culture transformation • Cross-functional leadership • Organizational and behavioral insights • Executive communication and influence • Cultural and emotional intelligence • Program design and execution • Community and ESG alignment **QUALIFICATIONS** **Required Qualifications:** The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field • 10+ years of progressive experience in employee engagement, well-being, HR strategy, or corporate social responsibility, preferably in financial services. • Demonstrated success designing and scaling enterprise programs across a matrixed organization. • Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Deep understanding of employee experience and organizational health • Excellent Communication, influence and storytelling abilities • Experience working with teammate engagement platforms and HRIS tools **Preferred Qualifications:** • Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Business, Human Resources, or related field. • Experience with ESG strategy or nonprofit partnerships. • Certified in well-being, coaching, or related frameworks **General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation:** All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
