Your Role:
The Head of North America Distribution will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing comprehensive distribution strategies that align with the overarching goals of the organization. This executive leader will spearhead the North America distribution team, cultivating a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. By optimizing distribution networks and processes, the individual will enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate service levels, ensuring a seamless operational flow. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, sales, and marketing, will be essential to maximize customer satisfaction and operational synergy. The leader will rigorously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of distribution operations and implement data-driven improvements. Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices, including safety and quality assurance, will be a top priority. Additionally, the role involves fostering strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, such as third-party logistics providers and regulatory agencies, to enhance operational capabilities. Staying abreast of industry trends and innovations will enable the leader to drive forward-thinking distribution strategies that position the company for sustained success in the competitive pharmaceutical and life sciences landscape.

 

Who you are:

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.10+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management, with a focus on the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.Proven leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to motivate and develop teams effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, with a data-driven approach to decision-making being a key requirement.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration across various functions.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the pharmaceutical industry.Proficiency in distribution management software and tools.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree preferred.
