The Opportunity

As the Head of Molecular Lab, you will report to the designated executive leader and be based in China. This pivotal role combines strategic vision with operational excellence, driving the growth and success of our Molecular Diagnostics division. You will collaborate with global teams, lead high-performing teams, and shape the future of diagnostics in China.

What You Will Be Working On

Act as the key interface with Regional/Global Marketing Groups to secure resources and align strategies.

Lead product launch processes, ensuring milestones are met and compliance standards are upheld.

Represent Roche in business partnerships and key customer interactions to foster strong relationships.

Oversee sales, marketing, and customer service operations to maximize effectiveness.

Mentor and develop talent to build a high-performing team and ensure robust succession planning.

Develop and implement strategies for distributor management, pricing, and regulatory compliance.

Identify market opportunities, monitor industry trends, and drive innovative business initiatives.

Who You Are

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a science/medical-related field; MBA or postgraduate qualifications are a plus.

Experience: 15+ years in sales and marketing management within multinational pharmaceutical/medical device companies, preferably in In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD).

Skills: Proficiency in English (written and spoken), strong command of MS Office, and deep industry/market expertise.

Leadership: Proven ability to drive operational excellence, manage P&L, and inspire teams.
