As our new Head of IT Finance, you will be a key member of the Business Partner Finance team, driving value across our IT function. The position is based at our head office in Aarhus, Denmark.

How you will make an impact
As Head of IT Finance, you will lead a team of four experienced finance professionals and report directly to the Head of Business Partner Finance. You will also be part of the Business Partner Finance Leadership Team. You will work closely with the CIO and the IT Leadership Team, ensuring our IT investments are strategically prioritized and deliver measurable value, while driving performance through holistic financial management across the entire IT department.

In the role as a trusted advisor for the CIO, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering best-in-class business partnering to the CIO and IT Leadership Team, enabling strong portfolio and strategic prioritization of digital and IT projects Leading financial planning, forecasting, and performance management to optimize digitalization and IT costs, improve ROI and secure efficient resource allocation Ensuring implementation of robust portfolio and project governance processes focused on value realization and business impact Driving financial and risk management for IT investments, including cloud consumption and vendor contracts Providing sharp financial analyses and scenario modeling to support key decision-making across IT and broader business functions Leading continuous improvement initiatives through cost control, benchmarking, and process automation Supporting the development of a high-performing IT Finance team, ensuring capabilities match the evolving needs of the business and digital agenda

 

What will make you successful?
You are a commercially driven finance leader who thrives on enabling business transformation through technology and finance collaboration. You combine strategic insight with solid execution and have a strong track record in business partnering within IT or tech-driven environments.

Moreover, you have:

A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field 10+ years of finance experience, ideally within a technology-oriented function or organization Strong leadership capabilities with experience leading and developing high-performing teams A proactive and analytical mindset, with a keen eye for cost optimization, process improvement, and value creation Excellent stakeholder management skills across seniority levels – from junior employees to senior-level executives The ability to drive strategic dialogues and influence outcomes in complex, cross-functional environments

You are a strong communicator, capable of simplifying complex data into actionable insights, and enjoy navigating change with a solutions-oriented mindset. Your business acumen and drive will ensure we continue delivering strong results in an increasingly digital business landscape.
