Why We Have This Role
We’re looking for a seasoned Internal Audit leader to build and scale a best-in-class internal audit function that safeguards our business as we grow. You’ll work closely with the Audit Committee, CFO, and leaders across the company to design and test internal controls, drive SOX compliance, and embed risk management throughout Qualtrics. This role will be critical in helping us strengthen governance, improve business processes, and ensure operational and financial integrity across a fast-growing global SaaS company.

\n\nExpand your leadership scope by scaling a growing internal audit department in a dynamic SaaS environment\nDeepen your expertise in emerging audit technologies, data analytics, and automation (including AI applications)\nGain exposure to global risk management and corporate governance at the board level\nLead cross-functional initiatives to embed risk-conscious culture across the organization\nStrengthen your advisory impact by influencing strategic decisions and operational improvements\n\nThings You’ll Do
\n\nLead and grow an internal audit team responsible for maintaining robust internal controls, including section 404 SOX compliance, through recruiting, training, and managing co-source partnerships\nDevelop risk-based audit plans aligned with company strategy, execute advisory and assurance engagements, and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership and the Audit Committee\nManage the SOX compliance program end-to-end: design, testing, remediation, and coordination with external auditors\nFacilitate enterprise risk management by running risk committee meetings, updating risk registers, and integrating risk in strategic planning\nBuild strong stakeholder relationships across finance, IT, legal, and business units to support governance and compliance efforts\nLeverage audit and data analytics technologies to improve audit effectiveness, drive automation, and promote continuous process improvements\n\nWhat We’re Looking For On Your Resume
\n\n15+ years in internal audit, with at least 5 years in leadership roles\nProven SOX compliance experience, ideally in public or pre-IPO SaaS companies\nStrong background with SaaS financial and operational business models\nDemonstrated skills with risk management frameworks and governance\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s and CIA/CPA preferred, CISA a plus\nExpertise in COSO framework, audit management software, data analytics, IT controls, cybersecurity, and privacy regulations\nExperience presenting to executives and audit committees, leading cross-functional teams, and driving organizational change\n\nWhat You Should Know About This Team
