We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of Insurance Platform and Solutions.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
Maintain governance and oversight of internal and external insurance partners from the bank’s perspective, across GPB (Global Private Banking) and retail segmentOversee sales journey, process, and controls to manage distribution risks across retail and GPB. Collaborate with Distribution, HSBC Life and Second line of defence to ensure distribution risks are identified and effectively managedResponsible for insurance product / third party onboarding and ongoing review in line with HSBC standards across the continuumWork with HSBC Life on product requirements and development as well as commercialization strategies and tactical campaigns with segment specific proposition, representing distributor’s needsLead insurance distribution initiatives such as process streamlining and system enhancements to improve frontline / client experienceEnsure the timely implementation of regulatory initiatives related to insurance distribution in a commercially viable manner whilst ensuring reputational risk impact is mitigated and/or minimisedWork with HSBC Life and accountable for insurance distribution training materials and frontline communications
