Takeda is building its Data, Digital and Technology Global Delivery Model. 

As the Head of the Innovation Capability Center in China at Takeda, you will play a pivotal role in leading the digital evolution and global transformation within the Chinese market. Your responsibilities will include managing a technology delivery team at the ICC site in China, focusing solely on driving innovation and business development tailored for the Chinese market. You will be accountable for recruiting and retaining a high-performing team, operationalizing the capability center, and establishing Takeda's brand reputation as a digital and data-driven biotechnology company in China.

This role will have budget responsibility and a direct accountability for site employees.

Key Objectives:

Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain a collaborative teamPartner with internal and external stakeholders to operationalize the capability centerAdvocate for delivery center capabilities and technologiesEstablish and oversee objectives, processes, and digital acceleratorsBuild and maintain Takeda's brand reputation in the China market

Key Delivery Capabilities Duties:

Oversee service delivery and day-to-day operations of the capability centerDefine and implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and quality standardsReview and monitor key performance indicatorsEstablish quality control mechanisms and periodic quality assurance reviews

Accountabilities:

Provide leadership and implement strategic direction and goals for the center.Lead, develop and empower an efficient, effective, and agile Capability Center team to deliver exceptional capabilities and services for the Global Data and Digital organization in ChinaDrive a consistent and positive user experience, embedding a Digital and Agile mindset and culture throughout the transformation journey.Ensure effective Teamwork and collaboration both within Takeda and with any 3rd party outsourced provider, and with all interfacing functions in country including Finance, Corporate Affairs, Compliance and Legal.Enhance career experiences in country / region and build next generation technology capabilities to enable today’s and future organizational strategic objectives.Act as a Transformation Lead for the site and for the broader region

TECHNICAL/FUNCIONAL (LINE) EXPERTISE:

Proven record of standing up, scaling and running a delivery capability ( 50+ FTEs) in  ChinaDeep expertise in end-to-end digital product delivery with an Agile Operating ModelAbility to build consensus and drive change across broad group of senior stakeholders to deliver against a multi-year planServes in full time capacity in China and has strong professional network, understanding of local market and ways of working

Strong strategic thinking and decision makingDemonstrated success in leading IT and technical teamsExperience developing and managing high performing teams in high volume and high pressure environmentAbility to form strong working relationships across a matrix environment with ability to collaborate and influence executive leadershipExcellent communication, listening and influencing skills; ability to listen, anticipate customer needs and influence solutions.Act as a change agent, drive GDD&T culture and mindset within the country and region
