The Head of Finance for Toronto (TOR) monitors the overall financial performance of Toronto site, contributes to strategy and execution of Play to Win priorities. He/She is part of the Toronto site Leadership team and plays a key role in supporting Cost of Goods improvement and efficiencies to allow optimal allocation of resources to innovative products.

Toronto site is at the cornerstone of the overall Vaccines business ambition, with 2 new innovative buildings opening in the next 18 months – covering both Pediatric, Flu and RSV businesses: the Head of Finance TOR works closely with Commercial operations global franchises to shape & implement product strategy (e.g. volume / price effect depending on COGS trajectory).

The Head of Finance TOR will also ensure compliance with Group controlling guidelines and procedures.

Scope: 1 000 HC, 240 M€ OPEX, 350 M€ inventory in Toronto – and Major Capex programs (B100 and B200)

Reports to Head of Finance M&S Vaccines.


 

Main Responsibilities:

Monitoring and driving performance:

develop and own strategic planning, budget and forecast

manage the site finance function to ensure that objectives are achieved

accountable for finance performance of the Site (P&L & balance-sheet)

co-drive and challenge the business investments and resources allocation through the appropriate use of KPIs, prioritization measures and operational analysis

streamline reporting process, enhance tools – working closely with controlling operations organization

Leadership:

key leadership position to provide strong strategic direction and deployment aligned with financial planning, change management and projects / program delivery to achieve the Play to Win Strategy

responsible to develop a qualified and motivated team, both direct management (4 HC) and transversal management of the Hub team (~5 HC)

define and develop capabilities to support the matrix organization

About You

Experience:

+7 years of experience in finance management position, previous experience in Industrial finance is preferred but not a must

Soft skills

Demonstrated ability to challenge, negotiate, influence, advise and advocate in a constructive manner.

Excellent skills in Communication / Presentation / Training.

Ability to lead transversal activities and to work in a matrix environment

Team and people management

Technical skills: 

Finance tools proficiency: TM1, SAP systems

Education:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s in Finance, Business School or Engineering with Finance experience preferred

Languages: English

The salary range for this position is:

$139,200.00 - $201,066.66

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
