We’re looking for a Head of Finance in Texas, New Jersey, or Connecticut, who will support operational management with financial, business analysis, and commercial matters, acting as a Business Partner to the President and leadership team.

Lead and manage the IPP NAM Finance team to achieve a “best in class” function focused on efficiency and engagementOversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, FP&A, and timely financial statement preparation per GAAP/IFRSServe as a trusted senior advisor to the business, challenging decisions and gaining deep business knowledge; liaise with auditors, customers, suppliers, and advisors as neededProvide revenue, cost, capital expenditure, and working capital forecasts to the President and Group Finance with meaningful challenge and insightLead planning and reporting of complex financial analysis at project and corporate levels, including commercial, contractual, and legal issuesAccountable for FP&A activities to prepare accurate and timely corporate and project financial forecasts, month-end reporting, risk assessment, and budgetingOversee the financial control environment, ensuring compliance with Aggreko’s financial guidelines, statutory and tax filings, and robust operational controlsPromote continuous improvement in finance operations whether performed internally or by third partiesDeliver key performance indicators such as timely and accurate accounting statements, forecast accuracy, and on-time closure of statutory, tax, and audit mattersBuild, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting teamYou’ll have the following skills and experience:
Relevant professional finance qualification such as CPA, plus an MBA or bachelor’s degree with an accounting major from an accredited institution.Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the Energy Sector, with multinational corporate experience considered a plus.Proficient in both US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, with experience in project finance accounting and US structures including debt, tax equity financing, and renewable energy tax incentives.Experience leading remote teams, managing complex internal and external relationships, and strong stakeholder management including business partnering.Demonstrated full P&L and balance sheet accountability with proven delivery of results, and ability to work well with ambiguity.Skilled in presenting financial information clearly to diverse audiences, leading financial controls, compliance, governance, and experienced with ERP systems (ideally Sage), consolidations, and data warehousing tools.Find out more and apply now
