About the Role: As Senior Manager of International Construction Safety Assurance, you'll lead a team of six regional safety professionals to establish and maintain industry-leading safety standards across Amazon's global construction portfolio. You'll shape our safety culture by developing innovative assurance programs, driving digital transformation through our BOLT safety management system, and fostering a data-driven approach to risk management. This role offers the unique opportunity to influence safety practices at scale while working with diverse stakeholders across Design & Construction, Operations Engineering, Startup and Real Estate teams Would you like an opportunity to travel and work in multiple countries and cultures? The role will be based in UK, Spain, Italy, France, Lux, Germany OR Austria with 50% of time traveling either domestically or to other EMEA countries. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities • Leading and developing a high-performing international safety team • Driving accountability for safety performance through vendor management • Implementing scalable safety assurance programs and digital solutions • Analyzing safety trends and developing proactive mitigation strategies • Managing relationships with regional safety consultants and contractors • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and Amazon's global standards A day in the life Management of team of 6 UKI, AMET, LATAM, SEU and MEU and Program Manager. Providing field safety assurance to GES construction projects across all 3 miles and including design and construction, Ops Engineering and Startup Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field Proven track record of managing remote teams across multiple regions Strong understanding of international construction safety regulations Experience with digital safety management systems Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders Preferred Qualifications French, German, Polish, Portuguese, Arabic, Turkish, Afrikaans and Zulu are considered preferred qualifications Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
