Condé Nast Italy is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Head of Experiential Marketing / Events Director to lead the development and execution of high-profile branded events and immersive experiences across our iconic brands — including Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, AD, Wired, Traveller, La Cucina Italiana.nBased in Milan, You will work closely with project managers and producers, act as the senior contact for key clients, and ensure that all events reflect the excellence and innovation Condé Nast is known for globally.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Event Leadership
Lead and scale Condé Nast’s Event & Experiential Marketing efforts in Italy, collaborating closely with editorial, brand, sales, and creative teams to align events with commercial and cultural goals
Manage the full event calendar, including multi-sponsor activations, brand experiences, content-driven summits, and editorial showcases, ensuring brand integrity and editorial alignment
Oversee all stages of event planning and delivery, including budgeting, contracting, supplier management, scheduling, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up for physical, hybrid, and digital events
Ensure the smooth execution of events while supervising the preparation of event documentation such as offers, schedules, production timelines, and contracts
Client, Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Lead negotiations with sponsors, service providers, and third-party agencies to secure the best terms, pricing, and quality standards
Coordinate with multiple internal departments to ensure seamless delivery: editorial, social, production, design, legal, and finance
Build strong relationships with direct suppliers to avoid unnecessary intermediaries and mitigate price increases
Team Leadership & Process Optimization
Lead and manage a team of 7 people in the planning and execution of events
Establish best practices for event planning, production, reporting, and guest experience
Ensure quality control of all experiential deliverables — from visuals and on-site execution to staffing and guest flow
Reporting & Budget Management
Track and report on event KPIs, budget performance, and overall campaign outcomes
Optimize event budgets by managing costs efficiently and forecasting key cost items and operational phases
Support monthly reporting and contribute to annual budget planning for the CNCC experiential division
Primary Skills & Qualifications
A senior event or experiential marketing leader with 5+ years of experience, ideally within media, luxury, fashion, or lifestyle sectors
Professional working fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
A solid foundation in event operations, vendor and budget management, and client coordination
Strong experience handling both editorial-led and commercially sponsored events, including contract and proposal writing
A natural host and experienced communicator — confident in representing the brand internally and externally
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated, with strong team management skills.
Degree or formal training in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related fields
