Reporting directly to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, this role has responsibility for developing and leading the process to embed enhanced Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyse and report enterprise risks, and to manage risks according to an enterprise risk management framework.
The role will deliver Line 2 risk advisory services across the region, as well as monitoring and assurance activity that supports compliance with global and local risk and compliance requirements and obligations.
We will count on you to:
Lead the development and implementation of the enterprise risk strategy for the region.Create and/or review and maintain fit for purpose frameworks, policies and standards across the organisation. Work across the business to set the region risk appetite supporting successful business strategy execution.Provide expert and strategic Line 2 Risk Advisory and challenge services to the broader organisation.Ensuring all Line 2 BAU activities such as risk profile reviews and assurance activities are completed in a fit for purpose, compliant and value add way.Develop and execute a risk-based monitoring and oversight plan to support compliance with regulatory and policy requirements.Provide insightful and relevant risk reporting across the management and boards as required.Oversight the delivery of global services and associated risks in key risk areas.Support efforts to drive a strong risk culture across the organisation.Engage and collaborate with local and global senior leadership, boards and key stakeholders to promote strong risk accountability, sound governance and risk in performance practices.Driving a highly engaged and motivated team that is connected to the broader risk and compliance community. Establish, implement and maintain governance structure for the team, ensuring effective collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across all Enterprise Risk and Frameworks activities.What you need to have:
University level qualifications in law, risk or business. Highly experienced in enterprise risk management and risk frameworks, preferably within a large superannuation or other financial services organisation. Demonstrated ability to develop detailed knowledge of business processes. Strong communication skills - both written and oral. Sophisticated understanding of enterprise risk management Process orientated, with a strong understanding of best practice frameworks, policies and processes to support optimal risk outcomes. Ability to manage deliverables with rapidly changing priorities and demands. Senior specialist level interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication. Strong technical skills in regulatory/legal and compliance Good organisational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines. Uses available technology to improve practices and own productivity. Makes sound recommendations based on analysis and findings in reporting. Professional technical writing.What makes you stand out:
