The Head of Enterprise Architecture will be responsible for establishing and modifying the structure of the enterprise architecture organization, as needed to lead the organization’s enterprise architecture function, driving strategic alignment between business goals, IT strategies, and architectural standards. This role encompasses governance, innovation enablement, and the development of reference architectures while ensuring alignment with the organization’s enterprise IT architecture (EITA), business capabilities, and application onboarding control. The individual will oversee architecture governance processes, coordinate technology working groups, and serve as a strategic thought partner for business and IT stakeholders.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Enterprise CI/CD Platform Management
1. Lead the development, implementation, and scaling of enterprise CI/CD pipelines to support seamless application delivery and deployment.
2. Partner with development teams to enhance speed-to-market through efficient and automated workflows.
SDLC and DevSecOps Controls
3. Ensure compliance with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, integrating DevSecOps principles to mitigate risks.
4. Implement robust controls to govern development, testing, and deployment processes.
Developer Experience and Testing Automation
5. Drive innovation to improve developer productivity, ensuring tools and platforms deliver exceptional user experiences.
6. Expand testing automation frameworks and practices to improve quality and reduce time-to-market.
Business Capability Models
7. Build, maintain, and optimize enterprise business capability models to guide strategic planning.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and assess capabilities needed to meet current and future business demands.
9. Use capability models to identify Jopportunities for investment and efficiency gains.
Application Onboarding Control
10. Oversee the onboarding of applications into the enterprise environment, ensuring compliance with architectural standards.
11. Streamline application onboarding processes to reduce time to deployment while maintaining governance.
12. Conduct periodic reviews of application portfolios to ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
Reference Architectures
13. Design and maintain reference architectures that provide blueprints for solution delivery.
14. Develop reusable architectural patterns to accelerate project timelines while ensuring standardization.
15. Provide guidance to project teams on leveraging reference architectures effectively.
Architecture Governance
16. Establish and enforce enterprise architecture governance frameworks to ensure compliance and accountability.
17. Define roles, responsibilities, and processes for architecture review boards and working groups.
18. Monitor adherence to architectural principles across the IT landscape.
Innovation Enablement
19. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that can drive innovation and competitive advantage.
20. Collaborate with technology and business leaders to pilot and scale innovative solutions.
21. Act as a thought leader and advocate for innovation within the organization.
Technology Working Groups
22. Lead and coordinate technology working groups to promote collaboration and standardization across domains.
23. Facilitate cross-functional discussions to address enterprise-wide technology challenges.
24. Ensure working groups are aligned with enterprise architectural goals and strategies.
Architectural Consultancy Engagement
25. Serve as a strategic consultant to business, IT leaders and engineers, providing architectural guidance on initiatives.
26. Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and guidance to promote architectural principles and best practices.
27. Act as the primary point of contact for architecture-related queries and engagements
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or a related leadership role.
3. Strong understanding of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, or similar).
4. Proven track record of developing and implementing enterprise-wide architecture strategies within a high regulated environment.
5. Expertise in business capability modeling, application onboarding, and architecture governance.
6. Experience with innovation enablement and emerging technologies.
7. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
