This person will work onsite from our Bozeman, MT office leading a distributed workforce with part of the team being in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams. **Responsibilities:** + Develop and execute engineering strategy aligned with company goals. + Identify technological trends to drive business growth. + Create and maintain a long-term technology roadmap. + Allocate resources effectively to support initiatives. + Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery. + Establish and enforce quality standards. + Manage technology stack and ensure alignment with business needs. + Hire, mentor, and develop engineering talent. + Set clear goals and conduct performance reviews. + Collaborate with other departments for successful project delivery. + Ensure robust, scalable system design and architecture. + Encourage innovation and stay updated on industry best practices. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. + Manage technical risks and ensure data security. + Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders. + Maintain thorough documentation of processes and projects. + Promote continuous improvement and process optimization. **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. + 10+ years of professional experience in a technical role. + Proven experience in software development or systems engineering. + Previous leadership experience. + Strong understanding of system architecture and design.
