This role will be based in LATAM with flexibility to local office attendance via J&J’s FWA. Our Employee Health and Well-Being (EHW) organization is dedicated to the total health of our employees. Following our EHW Global Strategy and supported by our policies, programs, and resources, the Employee Health & Well-Being Americas Clinical & Strategic Operations Leader, a licensed medical provider, will bring to life our effective approaches and strategies to serve our employee’s total health. **Key Responsibilities:** + A licensed Medical Provider and member of the Global Medical (Clinical) Directors, contributing to strategic discussions and supporting leadership and/or implementation of Guidelines and Policy creation, implementation, and life cycle management: Develop, implement, and manage global occupational health guidelines, ensuring alignment with partner organizations policies and regulatory frameworks. Regulatory frameworks include J&J regulatory compliance and country/state level regulatory compliance. + Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships: Lead and support strategic projects, including acquisitions, divestitures, and partners (Internal/External), while identifying opportunities to validate and enhance key programs (HEART, EMR, Site Audits, etc.) directly impacting employee health and safety. + Oversight on Occupational Health strategies and key enterprise processes to promote employee’s health protection and compliance. + Directs centralization of accommodations and clinical credentialing in NA with responsibility for all clinical oversight, team performance and development and regulatory compliance of programs. + Maintains visibility as an Employee Health & Well-Being advocate and spokesperson for the Americas. Continued engagement of key stakeholders and member of required committees (ex. Biosafety) to reinforce the strategic impact of clinical regulatory compliance and employee health and safety. + Point of contact and clinical SME for EHW NA Operations team and key partner to Head of Employee Health & Well-Being. + Accountable for budget planning and other management tasks, as needed. + Ensure employee protection through appropriate occupational health and primary care strategies in accordance with J&J and Local Regulations and in close partnership with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Human Resources (HR), Facilities, and business leadership. **Other Duties:** + Audit and Compliance Oversight: Ensure regional readiness for internal and external audits while maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements and global occupational health policies. + Active member of the EHW Audit team + Vendor Management of 3rd Party Providers **Qualifications** **Education:** + Required: Licensed Medical Doctor or Registered Nurse. + Required: Graduate Degrees or other Advanced Education in Occupational Health and/or Public Health. **Experience and Skills:** **Required:** + 8-10 Years of Work Experience including. + Minimum of 6 Years of People Management Experience + Direct Care Occupational Health and management experience in both manufacturing and corporate environments. + Multi-country experience in Occupational Health and Well-being operations. + Fluency in Spanish and English is required, with excellent verbal communication and written presentation skills. + Knowledge in applicable regional regulations and ability to manage occupational health related cases, including Case Management, Disability Management, Government Reporting, Return to Work, etc. + Experience in Leading Emergency Medical Response and Medical Crisis Management. **Preferred:** + Proven experience in leading teams and driving organizational effectiveness, including the ability to inspire and develop talent, foster a positive work environment, and implement strategies that enhance team performance and organizational efficiency.
