The position 

CSC is looking someone to take over the leadership of our Danish Depositary Team. We are a longstanding depositary services provider serving Alternative Investment Fund Managers across a variety of investment strategies spanning from Private Equity and debt to Real Estate and Infrastructure to more esoteric assets.

Depositary Services Denmark is part of CSC’s wider Depositary Services business with offices in Denmark, Sweden, UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Luxembourg. We utilise a pan EU operating model with enterprise technology solutions which enables us to leverage knowledge and resources across our locations. We are a total of 70+ professionals specialised in Depositary.

Your responsibilities

Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Regulatory Oversee that the depositary business remains compliant with all regulatory requirements as set out in the AIFMD, Level 2 regulation, Danish FAIF-law, FSA and ESMA guidance’s etc. Operationally Ensure that all required services are delivered to the clients in a timely manner and to a sufficient degree resulting in a high level of client satisfaction in service and quality deliverables from the Depositary team. Oversee the implementation of various Depositary projects such as systems enhancements and process improvements Managerially Demonstrate effective leadership and management by lead the team as a positive role model in the spirit of CSCs values Commercially Engage with the stakeholders in the industry and build a network to drive the development of the Depositary business in Denmark Financially Contribute to the annual budget & forecast setting process. Own the P&L locally. Administratively Accept appointment as MD of the depositary company and able to obtain a fit & proper approval from the Danish FSA.

Your profile

Experience: Prior experience in Depositary services and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), particularly private capital and closed-ended structures, is preferred. Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Danish funds industry, AIFMD regulations, and the competitive landscape. Education: Degree in law, finance, accounting, or a related business/numerical field. Leadership & People Skills: Proven leadership with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage teams effectively. Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication abilities. Project & Time Management: Skilled in managing projects, prioritising tasks, and working collaboratively within teams.
