This position has a hybrid setup with approximately 2-3 days per week on site. **Tasks & responsibilities** + In your new role, you will drive innovation as the primary computational partner for the Neuroscience & Mental Health Therapeutic Area, collaborating with leaders across Discovery Research, Translational Medicine, and Clinical Pharmacology to deliver impactful solutions. + Furthermore, you will lead computational strategies to support therapeutic innovation, biomarker discovery, and patient stratification, applying advanced bioinformatics and machine learning to multi-omics datasets, including genomics and single-cell transcriptomics/proteomics, to inform decision-making across the drug discovery continuum. + In addition, you will represent Neuroscience & Mental Health within the global Computational Innovation leadership team, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and scientific priorities. + You will lead and mentor a diverse team of computational biologists (ranging from early-career scientists to associate directors and domain experts) and fostering collaboration, growth, and scientific excellence, with focus on a high-performing culture and continuous development. + Moreover, you will oversee resource allocation and team development, with a strong emphasis on scaling capabilities and nurturing talent.
