What the day will look like
+ Manage regulatory licenses and maintain relationships with regulators.
+ Address regulatory matters, staying updated on changes from local authorities.
+ Implement and monitor Aon's Global compliance policies across business units.
+ Draft new policies to comply with local laws, collaborating with Regional Legal and Compliance.
+ Train employees on corporate compliance policies.
+ Prepare training materials and conduct compliance training sessions.
+ Review business policies to ensure alignment with Aon and local regulations.
+ Communicate regulatory changes and update policies accordingly.
+ Ensure adherence to local and relevant foreign laws.
+ Provide compliance advice and guidance for Aon companies in Hong Kong and Macau.
+ Assist with investigations into rule violations and report findings.
+ Conduct compliance monitoring and report results, recommending corrective actions.
+ Coordinate compliance reviews with regional compliance or Internal Audit.
+ Lead the Aon Hong Kong Compliance Committee.
+ Manage data privacy issues and coordinate privacy compliance audits.
+ Collaborate with external compliance firms for regulatory requirements.
+ Act as Manager in Charge under SFC HK for Compliance, AML, and Risk Management for Aon HK Securities entity.
+ Participate in board and compliance meetings.
+ Management of third parties including, Review Third Party Request forms and conduct risk assessments.
+ Review due diligence conducted on third parties and clients.
+ Present to Regional Working Group on assessment of third parties
+ Ensure accurate recording of third-party status in the database.
+ Any other projects or duties as directed by Regional Compliance.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ 8 to 10 years of practical compliance experience. A legal background or degree in law is advantageous but not mandatory.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage and support diverse compliance projects, including commercial/corporate work and advising on new products and business initiatives.
+ Experience in the Hong Kong insurance/financial services industry is preferred.
+ Capable of working as a key member of a regional team, fostering collaboration and building relationships, while also being able to work independently and take initiative when needed.
+ Skilled in prioritizing tasks, working under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
+ Focused on accuracy and detail, with strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
+ Adaptable within the role and willing to engage in tasks as required.
