We are seeking a groundbreaking leader to join as Head of Commercial Risk Solutions (CRS), Singapore. This is a strategic leadership role with P&L accountability for the Singapore Commercial Risk portfolio and oversight for strategic carrier and client relationships. Reporting to the CEO, this role plays a crucial role in leading strategic relationships with clients and carriers.

What the day will look like
You will collaborate closely with in-country and regional leaders to align, implement, and amplify Aon’s strategic direction. You will play a role in crafting and driving the CRS strategy, ensuring it resonates with both local market dynamics and broader regional objectives.
You will drive outstanding client outcomes by leading design and execution of insurance programs across Aon’s placement platforms and facilities. This includes strategically positioning Aon’s relationships with carriers and underwriters, and actively giving to the creation of innovative placement solutions for both existing clients and new business opportunities. A key focus will be on developing a compelling data and analytics value proposition that delivers actionable insights by client segment, enabling better decision-making. With strategic carrier partners, you will also co-develop a customized claims promise that improves client value.
You will be responsible for delivering the Aon Client Leadership methodology within Singapore and collaborating across the sub-region to unlock growth opportunities for both colleagues and clients. In tandem, drive the execution of the Go-to-Market strategy in partnership with the regional Commercial Risk Chief Broking Officer and specialty leaders, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
Financial stewardship is a critical aspect of this role. Lead all aspects of the team’s financial performance, ensuring profitability, balanced growth, and increased market share. This includes supervising budgets, forecasts, and key performance metrics - both financial and people-related - to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
You will cultivate broking excellence by delivering a consistent suite of outstanding Commercial Risk offerings that align with regional and local priorities. This includes integrating Global Broking Centers as hubs of specialty risk expertise and strategic delivery, and embedding Aon Carrier Link as a core component of the middle-market broking process to improve operational efficiency.
Building and maintaining robust senior-level relationships with trading carriers will be critical to securing efficient outcomes for clients. You will also be driving all agreed broking levers across the region, ensuring consistency and impact in execution.
Governance and risk management will be a key part of your remit. You will provide organizational oversight to support the achievement of broking objectives, while identifying, assessing, and handling risks associated with the commercial portfolio. Ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal policies will be paramount.
Finally, you will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, encouraging inclusion, collaboration, and engagement in line with Aon United values. Your leadership will be instrumental in building a resilient, agile, and future-ready team!
