As a Head of Business Intelligence & Analytics within the J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management team. The Global Business Intelligence and Analytics team has grown exponentially over the last 10 years as the organization has matured from data-guided to data-driven. Our team’s input is critical not only in the analysis stage of objective-setting but also through the enablement and execution of those objectives. The team’s remit spans across developing sales/marketing enablement applications, data modeling,  sales and marketing strategy, predictive analytics and more. This unique position requires all team members to be technically proficient, strategic, curious, outcome-oriented and excellent narrators

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Head of BI, in this role you will focus on partnering with sales teams to drive more effective distribution through client analytics.Delivering analytical client insights to sales teams to enable sales processBuilding and maintaining sales enablement tools to curate key recommendations to sales teamsPartnering with, and guiding, senior distribution and business stakeholders on various data initiativesDriving new AI enablement insights, capabilities and processesConducting data analyses and prototyping basic statistical or machine learning modelsWorking with technology teams to define data strategy and build data models, including data lineage and governance exercises

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

10+ years of coding experience (Python, Pyspark and SQL)BA / BS degree – major/minor in business, analytics, data science, AI or related fieldsFamiliarity with Asset Management and/or distribution organizationsComfort working in agile product teamsExperience developing KPIsA highly effective communicator and adept at stakeholder managementComfort in working flexibly and iteratively with large sets of dataStrong analytical skillsAI literacy and understanding, particularly for enabling new intelligence and sales tools

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

At least 10+ years of experience in roles within data analytics / strategy, asset management preferredStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to adapt to shifting priorities, requirements and timelines by utilizing problem-solving skillsProficient with Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Python, and/or other common project and business communication software
