Head of Business Development/Business Excellence ASEAN
This role leads our strategy and business development activities for Siemens in ASEAN. Responsibility for business development activities, monitoring of addressable markets and developing business opportunities from new and existing market segments and channels for the Siemens business portfolio. In addition, driving key program transformation rolled out by HQ.
You'll Make a Difference By:
Lead Business Strategy & Development: Steer the creation and execution of our business development strategies for Siemens Smart Infrastructure across the ASEAN region, ensuring they align with our business goals.Identify Growth Opportunities: Analyze market trends to uncover new business opportunities and areas for process improvement and operational excellence.Drive Strategic Partnerships: Foster collaboration and strategic planning with various business units to pursue growth initiatives and identify shared opportunities.Champion Transformation: Lead the implementation of key strategic programs and initiatives from global headquarters, championing a culture of continuous improvement across the region.Create Compelling Business Cases: Develop robust and persuasive business cases, incorporating financial modeling, risk assessment, and alignment with operational excellence frameworks.Engage Stakeholders: Build strong relationships and effectively communicate business development strategies and findings to senior management and key stakeholders.
Your Defining Qualities:
Extensive Business Development Experience: You have over 8 years of experience in business development or other senior business roles, with a strong understanding of operational excellence methodologies.Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: You have a proven ability to break down complex problems, articulate technical topics clearly, and apply business excellence tools to find effective solutions.Stakeholder & Change Management Expertise: You have demonstrated experience managing diverse stakeholders, building consensus for business cases, and leading organizational change.Digitalization & Process Optimization Knowledge: You possess a strong understanding of digitalization solutions and technologies, with a focus on leveraging them for process optimization.Excellent Communication & Facilitation Skills: You can prepare impactful presentations, communicate effectively at all levels, and facilitate discussions on business improvement initiatives.Cultural Acumen: You have strong emotional intelligence and an understanding of ASEAN culture (a plus), coupled with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
