### **About the Role**
Uber Advertising has been one of Uber's fastest-growing success stories over the past three years, and we're just getting started. The EMEA region is a key growth driver, and we're looking for a strategic, commercially savvy leader to help us accelerate our momentum.
This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Head of Uber Advertising, EMEA. You'll work closely with global stakeholders and regional country leads to accelerate our partnerships with major top-tier media agencies. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the future of Uber's advertising business in one of our most dynamic regions.
### **What You’ll Do**
As the regional lead for agency partnerships, your work will focus on three core areas:
Partnership Development
- Design and implement a scalable engagement strategy with key media agencies
- Identify and prioritise new areas for collaboration that align with both Uber’s growth goals and the evolving needs of our agency partners
- Drive strategic conversations that lead to long-term, mutually valuable relationships
#### Education & Enablement
- Develop and lead an agency education program to showcase Uber Advertising’s platform, product suite, and measurement capabilities
- Deliver compelling training sessions, materials, and workshops to ensure agency teams are equipped to recommend Uber solutions with confidence
- Partner with internal teams to continuously evolve content and delivery formats based on feedback and market needs
#### Commercial Strategy & Trading
- Lead commercial negotiations and structure trading agreements that support business objectives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on incentives, performance metrics, and deal structures
- Monitor and optimize trading performance, ensuring continuous improvement and mutual value delivery
**What We’re Looking For**
#### Strategic Thinking
- Ability to assess complex market dynamics and agency models
- Proven experience creating regional or cross-market strategies that drive measurable outcomes
- Able to turn strategic insights into actionable plans
#### Commercial Acumen
- Strong understanding of the media and advertising ecosystem (including digital channels such as programmatic, video, mobile, and performance marketing)
- Demonstrated ability to drive commercial value through strategic partnerships and negotiation
#### Relationship Management
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement across multiple levels, both internally and externally
- Experience navigating complex organizations and influencing without authority
- A well-established network within the media agency landscape is a plus
#### Communication & Influence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and representing Uber in external forums and events
- Ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
#### Adaptability
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Able to manage competing priorities and adapt plans based on new insights or shifting goals
### **Basic Qualifications**
- Experience leading high-performing teams or cross-functional projects within digital media, advertising, or platform businesses
- In-depth knowledge of digital advertising channels (e.g., programmatic, display, video, mobile, performance)
- Experience building or managing media agency relationships across EMEA
### **Preferred Qualifications**
- 10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Partner Management within the advertising or media industry
- A consistent record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets
- Experience negotiating and executing complex partnership or trading agreements
- Public speaking or industry engagement experience is a plus (e.g., conferences, webinars, roundtables)
