Head Horticulturist

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the planning, design, and maintenance of all landscaping across the hotel premises.Develop seasonal planting schedules and implement floral displays that enhance guest experience and brand aesthetics.Supervise and train a team of gardeners and landscaping staff to ensure high horticultural standards.Manage pest control, irrigation systems, and soil health to ensure plant vitality.Coordinate with vendors and contractors for procurement of plants, equipment, and landscape enhancements.Ensure all horticultural practices are environmentally sustainable and compliant with local regulations.Work closely with the Engineering and Housekeeping teams to support special events, floral decor, and green initiatives.Prepare and manage annual landscaping budgets, including cost control and resource optimization.Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain grooming standards of all green zones.

Qualifications Skills:

Master’s degree in Horticulture, Botany, or related field.Minimum 7–10 years of horticulture/landscaping experience, preferably in luxury hospitality or commercial landscapes.Strong knowledge of native and exotic plant species, seasonal variations, and garden design.Hands-on experience with landscape tools, irrigation systems, and pest management.Leadership and team management skills.Eye for detail, creativity, and passion for sustainability.Excellent planning, communication, and vendor management abilities.
