The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: + Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, while fostering a motivated and productive work environment through training and development. + Develop creative and seasonal menus aligned with the restaurant’s concept and the preferences of the target market, while staying updated on market trends and competitor offerings. + Oversee cost-effective kitchen operations by controlling food costs, managing resources efficiently, and maintaining accurate recipe documentation in coordination with senior chefs. + Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and equipment maintenance standards in line with HACCP guidelines, working closely with the Stewarding Manager to uphold cleanliness. + Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs for timely reporting, team scheduling, and operational planning, while organizing and executing food promotions and special culinary events. + Conduct regular performance evaluations for kitchen staff and implement development plans to support continuous growth and performance improvement. **About You:** The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: + A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a senior culinary role within five-star hotels, preferably in a busy environment. + Culinary degree or equivalent professional qualifications. + Strong leadership, organizational, and administrative skills. + Proven ability to develop creative menus and manage food costs effectively. + Excellent knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety regulations. **About the Benefits:** We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
