**Job Description**
St. Cloud Technical & Community College is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head Baseball Coach to lead our collegiate baseball program with integrity, strategic vision, and passion for student-athlete development. This role is responsible for all facets of the program, including coaching, recruitment, academic support, and compliance, while promoting a culture of excellence both on and off the field. St. Cloud Technical & Community College is a National Junior College Athletic Association member and competes in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference.
**Job Duties:**
+ Organize team practices (i.e., setting practice dates and times; equipment transport and maintenance)
+ Organize game management and travel (i.e., team statistic tracking, travel arrangements)
+ Lead coordination of team recruitment and retention programs (i.e., recruit contact and related follow-up)
+ Coordinate team fundraising program (i.e., help establish fundraising goals, identify Fundraising opportunities and fundraising needs)
+ Managing operational budget
+ Familiarity with statistical software, and social media
+ Experience with composing game summaries and website maintenance.
+ Work for Facilities, scheduling, communicating and partnering to have a success season with respect to practices and games.
+ Work with different departments on campus to recruit, support and retain student athletes
+ Provide leadership and direction to assistant coaches, volunteers, and student workers working within the program.
**Salary Range:**
This position is paid for 9 credits over the academic year with the MSCF salary scale with initial placement between $12,920-$21,567.90. The salary amount will be pro-rata pay when coaching a student activity.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Head coaching experience in Baseball at the high school or coaching experience at the collegiate level
**Preferred Qualification**
+ Bachelor's degree (in any field)
+ Recruiting experience preferably at the College level
+ Working knowledge of the NJCAA's eligibility requirements for student athletes
+ Familiarity with Minnesota College Athletic Conference
+ Experience with fundraising
**Other Requirements**
In accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (Minnesota State) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State’s vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
