Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented, experienced HCV Operations Supervisor to lead a team of Housing Specialists and support staff. This role ensures compliance with program regulations, monitors performance, improves customer service delivery, and supports staff development and training. Strong communication, leadership, and time management skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations and workloads of HCV staff, ensuring compliance with HUD rules.
Assign caseloads, set deadlines, and monitor productivity using reporting tools.
Assist with policy changes, training development, and onboarding new team members.
Perform HCV processing tasks when needed; support terminations, moves, and lease reviews.
Conduct tenant briefings and respond to participant/landlord inquiries.
Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly reports; ensure timely corrections to quality control findings.
Mentor staff on complex cases, calculations, and conflict resolution.
Lead or assist in special projects as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
In-depth knowledge of the HCV program, HUD guidelines, and HQS requirements.
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and housing management systems.
Professional communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in HCV or similar housing programs.
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
HCV Occupancy and Rent Calculation Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
Training & Development:
