HCM Reporting Sr. Analyst
Job Description

Job Summary 

The HCM Reporting Sr. Analyst is to leverage data to provide support in HR reporting and metrics for Corporate and Hospital leadership. The role is established to foster value creation and implementation of the organization’s data strategy through the use of the organization’s data assets. The role will partner with leaders to translate company priorities into metrics/ reports and their use into successful implementation of the company priorities.

Essential Functions

Uses specialized technical knowledge of data sets to be key resources in identifying and correcting data issues to improve data management, reporting processes, and overall efficiency within the Oracle HCM environment. Provides leadership in addressing needs from business partners for analytical solutions for HR needs. Maintains a strong understanding of Oracle HCM modules, specifically Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, and Recruiting modules. Reviews underlying data in providing auditing/ research to provide leadership areas of opportunity to improve data quality within the Oracle HCM system. Demonstrates a strong aptitude and understanding of HR data and HR employee lifecycle processes (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Benefits and Compensation, etc.). Serves as a senior technical expert and be pivotal in translating detailed requirements into meaningful reports for the end user by ensuring that the data is relevant, timely and effectively satisfies the business need. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university required  Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Clinical or Computer discipline preferred 3-5 year’s experience in an analytics role utilizing Oracle required 1-2 years experience with HR Reporting experience required Experience with Google data analytics platforms preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

High level technical knowledge of subject area systems. Proficiency working in databases, spreadsheets, and analytics tools. Broad knowledge of HR/Payroll concepts and terminology. Excellent analytical and data management skills. Strong SQL skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, think tactically and strategically, demonstrate objectivity, be results-oriented, and show initiative and creativity. Strong computer skills and technical capabilities, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office Excel and SQL Reporting Services (SSRS). Must be flexible, positive under pressure, work well under pressure, and have the ability to readily adapt to change. Knowledge of SSRS, SSAS, ETL, SQL Security, SSIS, APIs, Crystal Reporting and Excel. Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse concepts. Knowledgeable with ETL and data warehouse tools and processes. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
