**Hatchery Technician/Sanitation** **Full Time Hourly** **4 Day work week:** **Night Shift: Monday/Thursday 4 PM - 4 AM and Tuesday/Friday 5 PM - 5 AM** **At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The base hiring pay for this role is $21.45 per hour.** + **Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States** + **Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.** **Job Responsibilities:** + Perform scheduled checks on temperatures in holding areas, hatcheries and incubators. + Monitor poult holding room temps and assess poult comfort and well-being. + Follow Bio- Security protocol, safety policy and animal welfare policy. + Basic maintenance and repairs on Hatchery equipment, limited knowledge on pneumatics, plumbing and electrical. + Assist sanitation personnel with cleaning the servicing equipment and room. + Startup servicing equipment on hatch days.
