We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of HashiCorp Vault Engineer

In this role, you will:

Delivering roadmap definition, and solution architecture proposals for HashiCorp VaultMaturing our usage and practices around HashiCorp Vault to a high standardConsultation with consumers to guide them to using best in industry solutionsInvolved in design, build and support of HSBC global PAM servicesTaking ownership of root-cause-analysis for major or repeat incidentsSeek ways of automating, and building self-service into our processesTaking the lead on projects and initiatives when requiredTaking responsibility for audit and compliance requests when required

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Experience of HashiCorp Vault and HashiCorp Terraform Enterprise level – deploying, designing, and maintaining (2 years)Experience of documenting solution architecture proposals for complex Secret Management use casesExperience of at least one programming or coding language in depth and code management tools (Github)Skills in one or more of the following: Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, GithubExperience of DevOps practices used in a large enterprise, preferably using Terraform to build automationGood understanding of OIDC/JWT/OAuthGood understanding of and experience with Certificate Authority and Asymmetric Cryptography in generalExperience of Linux operating system - supporting, maintaining, patching and buildingExperience of Privileged Access Management tool (TPAM, Cyberark, Centrify/Delinea) and Secret Management concepts Understanding and experience of technologies deployed at a large scale in a global IT enterpriseExperience of working in an Agile team – managing workload in Jira and engagements in Jira Service DeskAbility to adapt and understand new technologies – being self-motivated to learn Strong interpersonal, influencing, communication and report-writing skillsAbility to interact appropriately with users of various technical skill levels Ability to work in a multi country, culturally diverse and time-zone separated role.
