Weyerhaeuser is seeking a driven and experienced Harvest Manager to join our Mississippi/Louisiana Region within the Southern Timberlands business. *Key Functions:*
* Administer harvesting and transportation contracts to ensure alignment with planned volumes and market commitments.
* Conduct on-site verification of harvest plans and oversee execution to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
* Negotiate and manage harvesting contracts, monitor contractor performance, and address noncompliance issues.
* Supervise harvest operations with a strong focus on safety, environmental stewardship, and product optimization.
* Maintain accurate and timely updates in operational systems to support planning and reporting functions.
* Ensure quality control in thinning operations and enforce environmental and safety compliance standards.
* Coordinate and manage logging road maintenance activities to support uninterrupted wood flow and site access.
* Bachelor’s degree in forestry or a related field, or equivalent experience; preference given to candidates with 5 years of relevant industry experience.
* Proven commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe work environment, with knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
* Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage contracts and supplier relationships effectively.
* Proficiency in evaluating log quality and applying conversion factors between scales and weights to optimize raw material value.
* Ability to analyze supplier performance using cost, volume, and quality data to drive operational improvements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and organizational boundaries.
* Comfortable working independently in a field-based role, including navigating active harvest sites and operating vehicles safely; valid driver’s license required.
*Compensation:* This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $61,688 - $102,556 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

*Retirement:* Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.
*Paid Time Off or Vacation:* We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3 weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours* *
