Description

-Use Python and associated packages (Pandas, PySNMP, PyVISA, and SCPI)

- Collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure the accuracy of test products

- Lead the execution of component, unit, and system test cases based on customer requirements

- Create focused testing plans, strategies, procedures, and reports.

- Conduct testing on various SATCOM systems and associated components

- Contribute to technical documentation to include system design and integration documents

- Analyze current technologies within the company and develop steps and processes to enhance testing procedures and techniques.

- Configure power meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment to support SATCOM testing.

- Define and implement automation processes to ensure accuracy and repeatability.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

-BS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineer or related field

-2+ years of Python and Test Engineering experience with Hardware

-MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR A SECRET CLEARANCE

- Proficient in operating and configuring RF test instrumentation for complex unit and system tests.

- Skilled in automating complex tests using software:

- Experience using Python and associated packages (Pandas, PySNMP, PyVISA, and SCPI)

-Experience with power meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment to support SATCOM testing.

- Experienced in developing test plans, procedures, and reports.

- Competent in reviewing system design documents.

- Capable of establishing test environments and tracking system/subsystem issues.

- Familiarity with computers and networking.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
