The Hardware Solutions Controller is responsible for providing controllership support during commercial negotiations, contract approvals or revenue assessments for Hardware Solutions contracts, ensuring the accounting implications of Hardware solutions deals are identified and managed effectively and in compliance with Cytiva’s revenue recognition policy, as well as ensuring high quality reporting standards for commercial balance sheet accounts.

This position reports to the Global Commercial Controller and is part of the Controllership team located in Budapest, Hungary and will be an on-site role. 

What you will do:

Review and approve EMEA hardware contracts terms and conditions while leading the EMEA revenue recognition assessments for hardware contracts, as well as providing ad hoc support to other regions on hardware solutions contracts.Global monitoring of milestone-based projects to identify potential risks related to revenue recognition, including monitoring of change orders after contract execution.Manage the closing and reporting process for EMEA hardware solutions, including journal preparation and review, as well as preparation and review of monthly account reconciliationProactively monitor balance sheet accounts, lead preparation / review of various analytics at quarter end and liaise with Finance teams for the preparation of the hardware solutions forecast globally.Collaborate with internal / external auditors and SOX team to provide documentation and support during SOX testing and audit


Who you are:You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred, with a minimum of 10 years experience in accounting.You have proven technical accounting expertise, including a thorough understanding of US GAAP principles and ASC 606.You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear and concise mannerYou can review and interpret complex contractual documentationYou have proficiency with Oracle and Ms Office, including advanced Ms Excel skills
