Hardware Logistics Specialist
MANTECH seeks a mission-focused **Hardware Logistics Specialist** to support the lifecycle handling and secure management of hardware systems and electronic equipment in **Ft. Meade, MD.** This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in supporting technical operations through hands-on logistics, dismantling, and accountability functions. Your efforts will ensure compliance, organization, and integrity across physical equipment processes. **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** + Perform physical dismantling and demilitarization of hardware in accordance with proper classification and sanitization procedures + Stage, organize, and transfer hardware to designated locations + Maintain accountability of all processed items, ensuring 100% material tracking + Manage logistical services related to equipment processing and database status tracking + Prepare functional requirements and detailed specifications for hardware disposal + Organize and direct procedural workflows to optimize hardware-related operations + Generate reports and analysis to support documentation and operational needs + Identify issues and ensure proposed solutions meet technical and operational requirements + Protect and account for controlled access materials, limiting access to authorized individuals only **Minimum Qualifications** + Associate’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or technical certification from a recognized trade school + 4+ years of experience working with controlled access materials + 2+ years of experience handling, using, and storing cryptographic equipment, with familiarity in DoD procedures **Security Clearance Requirements** + Current TS/SCI with Polygraph **Physical Requirements** + Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, and dismantling hardware. + Frequently moves equipment and interacts with technical teams. Must be able to communicate effectively while ensuring accurate documentation is maintained.
