**Summary:**
The Silicon End-to-End Team at Meta Reality Labs is seeking a Lab Manager, you will be responsible for our Engineering Labs, Infrastructure and Failure Analysis. This includes leading the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of all lab infrastructure. You will closely collaborate with other infrastructure teams to ensure high availability of tools while maintaining compliance with associated codes. You will support research, NTI and new Silicon development by supporting, provisioning, characterization, validation, failure analysis and testing to deliver best-in-class Silicon products. You will collaborate across a broad set of teams from research to facilities to solve issues.
**Required Skills:**
Hardware Lab Manager Responsibilities:
1. Plan and execute lab projects including lab expansion, equipment planning, procurement, setup, inventory, maintenance, calibration, software updates, license renewal, lab network, and security
2. Lead failure analysis to close issues and understand root cause
3. Coordinate maintenance across equipment and auxiliary tools
4. Responsible for maintaining laboratory stock and budgets (substrates, chemical, and consumables)
5. Establish workflow management system for work-in-progress optimization
6. Drive lab space, safety, regulatory, and security processes compliance, work with cross-functional teams to deploy Silicon validation laboratory environments in a timely manner
7. Work with cross-functional engineering managers and collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines to deliver high quality lab working environments
8. Support development of an agile workforce to manage key aspects of operational activities
9. Support training as needed for critical tooling and procedural processes
10. Control access to the lab as needed by maintaining an active roster of users and granting or recalling permissions as necessary
11. Manage and balance workloads of the lab technicians
12. Operate lab equipment as needed to drive task completion
**Minimum Qualifications:**

13. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science related field (materials, mechanical, electrical) or equivalent practical experience
14. 5+ years of experience in test lab environment
15. 3+ years of experience working in technology environment supporting multiple projects
16. Experience with lab purchase order process from quotation, purchase, payment, to delivery and vendor management
17. Experience developing and performing verification and characterization testing including (but not limited to) mechanical and electrical testing
18. Familiar in operational methodologies including provisioning, bring-up support, electrical test setup, execution, and debug
19. Experience executing tasks to meet deadlines
20. Experience adapting project plans while working in an agile environment with rapidly changing roadmaps

21. Experience with establishing workflows in a multisite synchronized lab environment
22. Experience setting up and running multiple labs in industries such as consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace, or defense
23. Experience in testing of prototypes, failure analysis and characterization of early product concepts
24. Proficiency navigating linux/windows environments in support of running testing scripts
25. Experience operating test handlers for automated silicon testing and characterization
26. Experience collaborating with cross functional teams to achieve shared goals

$111,000/year to $164,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
