The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Process Consultant supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program with a strong focus on workflow and process design to enhance and optimize a hardware asset management (HAM) solution leveraging the ServiceNow platform. This role requires someone who possesses a deep understanding of hardware lifecycle management and a proven track record of optimizing complex business processes using the ServiceNow platform. This role will be instrumental in identifying inefficiencies, designing future-state processes, and implementing automated workflows primarily within our hardware procurement, inventory, asset management, field service, and decommissioning capabilities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and a hands-on problem-solver capable of translating business needs into technical solutions within ServiceNow.
Responsibilities:
Process Analysis & Design:
Conduct in-depth analysis of current-state hardware operational processes (e.g., procurement, receiving, inventory management, asset tagging, deployment, repair, field service, returns, decommissioning). Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for automation and improvement. Design optimized, future-state processes and workflows, incorporating best practices and industry standards (e.g., ITIL, Lean Six Sigma principles). Develop comprehensive process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.ServiceNow Implementation & Optimization:
Support the configuration, customization, and implementation of processes ServiceNow modules relevant to hardware operations, including but not limited to: IT Asset Management (ITAM): Hardware asset lifecycle, inventory, discovery, reconciliation. IT Service Management (ITSM): Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, and Knowledge Management as they relate to hardware. Service Catalog: Requests related to hardware asset management. Custom Applications/Workflows: Design and build custom applications or workflows within ServiceNow to support unique hardware operational needs. Develop and implement automated workflows within ServiceNow to streamline hardware-related tasks and approvals. Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators and developers to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and align with platform best practices.Engagement & Change Management:
Partner closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Field Services to gather requirements, understand pain points, and secure buy-in. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to elicit detailed business requirements. Communicate process changes and system enhancements effectively to all levels of the organization. Develop and deliver training programs and materials to ensure successful adoption of new processes and ServiceNow functionalities.Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for hardware-related processes. Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Stay abreast of new ServiceNow features and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).5+ years of experience in a Business Process Analyst, Business Consultant, or similar role, with a strong focus on process improvement and automation. 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform configuration and implementation, specifically with ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) experience Experience with workflow design and automation using ServiceNow Flow Designer and/or legacy workflows. Deep understanding of hardware lifecycle management (procurement, inventory, asset tracking, deployment, repair, decommissioning). Proven ability to map complex business processes (current state and future state) using industry-standard methodologies (e.g., BPMN). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience with change management principles and practices.Desired:
Master's degree or relevant professional experience and certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP, ITIL v4). ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITAM or FSM. Experience in a high-growth or rapidly changing environment. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
