What will I be doing?

\n

A Handyperson with Hilton Hotels and Resorts will support the Engineering Department with general maintenance work, to maintain proper conditions of tools, equipment, and working areas throughout the hotel.

\n

Specifically you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nPerform day-to-day general maintenance duties within the hotel \nRespond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency calls \nConduct regular inspection tours of the hotel to ensure all operating equipment is working correctly \nCarry out painting and decorating tasks as directed\nWork closely with the Engineering Team on any projects or schedules \nMaintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in proper condition \nFollow all Health & Safety rules within the Department and the hotel \nDemonstrate exceptional customer service when engaging with Guests \nPerform any other tasks as requested by the Chief Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel\n

What are we looking for?

In your new role, you will be working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

\n\n\n\tPrevious maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or a similar varied work environment\n\tExperience working in a team environment\n\tAll round Maintenance ability\n\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills \n\tAbility to work without close supervision and within established timeframes \n\tStrong work ethic \n\tA passion for managing a variety of projects and tasks throughout the day\n\n\n
